Jim meets with the Cheyenne leader, who denies any involvement and even offers to help catch the killers to restore his tribe's reputation. It's a race against time to uncover the surprising truth behind the conspiracy before more innocent lives are lost.

The show was a western, but ingeniously introduced other genres ranging from adventure & espionage to science fiction & suspense. James West (Robert Conrad) and his aide and inventor, Artemus Gordon (Martin Ross) were secret service agents working directly under President Grant, combing the western frontier in their special secret service train and fighting villains of all sorts. Of course while many of the inventions and sinister plots may seem hard to believe that they happened in the 1800's, we will always wonder if there was a bit of truth to all that.
